A Major Benefit

Mentoring is one of the major benefits provided by the VPPPA to its member companies. Associate members and those companies looking to achieve VPP status have a tremendous resource available to them in the form of our network of VPP sites in Region VIII. Our members have a wealth of knowledge that they are happy to share with you in order to help you achieve your goal of safety excellence.

A Simple Process

Getting matched up with a mentor is a simple process. Log on to the National VPPPA website at www.vpppa.org new-window. There you will find a link called “Mentoring Program”. Follow that link to learn more about the mentoring process. To request a formal mentoring match, follow this link here new-window. Fill out that form and submit it and the National Office will coordinate with the Region VIII Board to identify an available mentor candidate for your site.

Every year Region VIII likes to recognize those that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to the VPPPA. A professional that is full of integrity, character, and of course has a heart for safety and health excellence.

Mentor of the Year
Region VIII VPPPA awards a Mentor of the Year at the Annual Region VIII VPPPA Conference. If you know of a company, group or individual that is committed to VPP and has provided outstanding mentoring assistance and involvement, please complete a nomination form.
